Saint Benjamin Brewing TAPROOM

With the Phase I Brewhouse complete and Saint Benjamin Brewing Company actively brewing and distributing, design of the adjoining taproom began in early 2015 with construction completing in June of 2016.  As a nod to the international icon that is the brewery’s namesake, the design seeks to channel a eclectic mix of international influence including old Bavarian beer halls, the English pub, and the French bistro while highlighting the industrial past of the existing building.  A series of custom linear channel lights shine upward highlighting the vaulted structural deck above.  The bar, back bar, and built-ins cue into the arch aesthetic maintaing a dialogue with the front door and windows.  An elegant and practical finish pallette, including waxed white oak flooring, black walnut, marble, and hand-made encaustic tile combine with the exposed brick to create a warm and rich eating and drinking environment.
