The client for this facade and third floor master suite renovation desired a crisp and clean reworking of the facade while maintaining the strong fraternity with the adjacent eight identical rowhomes. The solution remains entrenched in the brick and cornice character of the block but tightens the detailing. The new facade aims to simply rephrase the native architectural lexicon in lieu of reinterpretation.
The project also included the complete replacement of the interior stair, renovation of the second floor bathroom, and renovation of the third floor by converting it into a master suite.
